Answer» I am running Win XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service pack 2 and have a question about the Add and REMOVE Programs screen. My question is that I seem to have this large blanked out space between the listing of two of the programs. The screen is either blacked out or has alternating wide black/white stripes. I am concerned that maybe something has taken over part of my machine and is HIDING the listing. Is that possible? If it was caused by something malicious, how do I remove the blanked out part? Or is it nothing to be concerned about? The computer itself is a Compaq Presario w/Celeron 2.53 GHz and 760 MB ram.
