Answer» I have a VAIO PCG-4K1M (VGN-TX5XN) with Windows 7 (32 -bit) Professional/Service Pack 1/ installed on my system. It has 1.5 GB of main memory (RAM).
My TuneUp Utilities has suggested for several times now that I need at least 2 GB of main memory to guarantee optimal operation - a noticeably increasing of system PERFORMANCE.
What shall I do? Can I keep the 1.5 GB and not worry? THANKS . INFO online suggests that the maximum memory is 2GB for this model. Do you already have 2GB installed with integrated video allocating up to 500MB of it leaving 1500MB left for OS?
I have a NETBOOK that has 2GB of RAM of which only 1792MB is left free after 256MB is allocated as the max setting for video. The best thing you can do with TuneUp Utilities is uninstall it. It's useless.
