Answer» I have an expired trial version of Nero start smart 8. I now have a full version of Nero 7.10.1.2 that I want to install but it won't let me until I uninstall the Trial version of 8. No big deal right? ... I go to unistall it and this is what it tells me... "the system ADMINISTRATOR has SET policies that does now allow you to install this application" (even though I am trying TO UNINSTALL IT!) And after that another thing comes up that SAYS "You do not have sufficient access to uninstall Nero 8 trial. Please contact yopur system administrator" I have never had this problem removing anything else from my PC before. This is really irritating, I don't know what to do, please help. I am running Vista. Please & thank you.And....are you the administrator? You could try uninstalling in Safe Mode.Yes I am. How do you LOG in ob safe mode?Just before Windows boots you tap the F8 key.
