First of all, you can't "lose" the admin account. So why don't you slow down and tell us what's going on?well thats what i thought ,When i go into my control panel theres just a stupid butterfly PIC with limited user account ,no others so i havnt a clue. You know the control panel that allows you to customize the apearance and functionality of your computer? Well LAST wek i could add programs delete unused programs ,add user andguest accounts and all matter of what have you .Now i cant because my pc keeps telling me to contact a administrator to do it ,i dont have permission !I DID LAST WEEK so whats OCCURRED?It could be a permissions problem, it could be malware, maybe something else. Are there any other issues (for example, can you open regedit and task manager - do all other programs seem to work properly - can you delete files, etc)?
