Solve : ADSL router configuration?

1.	Solve : ADSL router configuration?
Answer» Hello all, i run windows 7 on my laptop, and i am connected to the internet with a Netgear DG 834g which works fine, and no problem CONFIGURING it to the laptop, however, i BOUGHT another Netgear router as a BACKUP, a DGN1000, this device will not configure with the laptop, the problem according to windows probably a faulty connection, and the the device has been indentyfied as DGN1000 by windows, PLEASE help.
