I don't see what's so complicated to understand

why can't my operating system be found

why is there an intell logo

why isn't it booting up like it was before

It took 5 tries to get though todayWell...if you put them all together, it doesn't make much sense...Quote from: 876543219 on September 14, 2009, 02:51:23 PM

Repair shop time.
Boot to your XP CD and choose the first repair option. That will take you to the RECOVERY console. Once there run chkdsk /r

It will take a while to COMPLETE - let it do so. After it FINISHES enter the following two commands, pressing ENTER after each one:
fixboot

fixmbr

Post back and let us know if that helped. If not, we'll do a repair install. To me it sounds like your bios has reverted to the DEFAULT settings, I'd try a new battery first then reconfigure the bios.
