Hello my friends.

Recently while I was working in an excel file Bios sound was heard and the PC stuck . suppose that was protection for CPU overheating. After that, the PC was dead . Frightened that I lost a job of 3 days on Excel , I took out the disk on my other pc to take thefile manually. As a consequence windows screamed that the system RECOVERED from a serious problem and that the hardware changed completely so I must reactivate them. But yesterday I tried to open my first PC again and it was looping in windows logo again and again.
1. I checked memories etc.
2. The CPU fan is intact and CPU temp 39C
3. The supplier seems to be working and is more than enough for the hardware I have
4. At sometime the NTDLR failed. I regained that through cd recovery console. Nothing. Still the same message

I know that I should back up etc etc I know that is 99% that I need to reinstall windows but I must GAIN my windows as it was bcs i have many folders that I cannot detect them if I use it as a slave drive in my other PC.

Im afraid that mechanically the disc is affected. (but it wouldn't load up to windows logo...

Any help???
Really HELPFUL site by the way

Thanks
Can you boot into Safe Mode?could u please try it either last KNOWN good configuration or safe mode?..just try and reply..what response u will get? Thanks for response!

Nope.
None of safe mode optionsI want to understand what you did.....

The system locked up so you took the hard drive and put it into another computer to try to boot it from the new machine? When that didn't work you put the drive back into the first machine and now it won't boot?

Is this right?

Im sorry. Yes

1. PC makes the BIOS noise and stucks. After shuting down it doesn't start again.
2. I take out the main disk and put it into my other PC as a master
3. It says that the hardware changed significantly...you must reactivate windows as well as an error message that the system recovered from a serious error
4. Still though, the windows started and I took all of my files.
5. Then I return the disk back to the first (damaged PC) as a master again
6. and reboot loop starts

Thanks a lot for help!!Hi well i would take the drive out again and install it as secondary in the other machine
Copy off all your needed data
and then download and run HDtune

Don't copy anything to the slave drive pls
select hard drive health and see if the slave drive is ok
if not thats your problem.hm! good idea!

At least I ll take back most of my files and if I can save the OS even better

Thanks for the advice!!
