Answer» HI, I have a TOSHIBA Laptop. It has been a workhorse for YEARS. (About 7 years old.) It 's running Win2K. For some weird reasons, now everytime I start it up, it asks me for my password, but the dialoge box stuck and I can't use the mouse or keyboard to response, this never happened before. I can't get to it. I tried the Safe Mode, I looked into the BIOS, But that's no help either. Does it mean that the battery for the CMOS is gone? RichardHey, Thanks for the reply.
