So after that I checked my AVAILABLE space and it still is SHOWING near full and running as if I dialup. What can I do I don't have any programs installed but a few such as a system cleaner other than that nothing HELLP MEEE ?Internet is slow, or your computer is slow? How big is your HD, how much free space?your saying you removed the programs and your hdd still full? did you empty the recycle bin?Free advice for WINDOWS 2000 users. If you do not have a good BACKUP plan, run not walk to your favorite vendor and get another Hard Drive. An 120 GB would be ideal for Windows 2000. Just re-install Windows 2000 of the new drive. Get updates, or do Sp-4. Get a decent anti-virus. Install the programs you trust and need. Your performance will be better. Take my word for it!
