Solve : All Programs Tab?

When I goto start then all programs.  Nothing happens even if I click on it.  What is my problem and how can I fix it. :-? noble3572001  ........ How about just a wee bit more info ..... ?
When did this start ?
What were you doing just prior to this starting ?
What operating system are you using ?


dl65  Last FRIDAY, I am using microsoft XP Pro,  I notice it when I LOGGED onThis is like pulling teeth.  

What malware protection?

Other problems with the machine?

Are you using Service Pack 2 and have ALL updates applied?

Is it a legal Windows install with WGA functioning properly?

Can you get into Safe Mode?

Have you tried a system restore to a point before this happened?norton

Your problem right there...
 noble3572001  .........  You might try rebooting into safe mode and see if you can see all programs from there .......  Failing that ,I would suggest going out and obtaining a legal version of XP ........

dl65  I will go buy a legal version, right nowThat is (in my opinion) the correct thing to do.  Please feel free to drop back in if you have any other QUESTIONS!I'm partial to those SHINY new WINXP CD's...they work rather well even if they are overpriced...
