Answer» I have WINDOWS xp. When I FIRST got the computer I tried to install an old scanner to it. The scanner was too old and not compatible anymore. So since then windows alerts me at STARTUP that the device wasn't able to install correctly. How do I get rid of this annoying problem?Check in Add/Remove programs for the scanner software...and remove it from there and re-boot... If it's not listed there Post back and we'll have to do some more digging.If the above doesn't work...
