What is currently the best antivirus, spyware, malware, etc..... total package download for my computer??? I need something that doesnt slow everything down too much. Just learning the whole computer thing so excuse the ignorance.There is no best AV, only what you like best. If you are willing to pay for an av there are any number of good choices (my favorite is Kaspersky). If you want a free av the best include Avira, Avast, AVG, etc. MalwareBytes and SUPERANTISPYWARE are the best spyware scanners and I SUGGEST everyone install SpywareBlaster and update it once a week.Hello, Kristina824

Avast

Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware

SUPERAntiSpyware

HijackThis

If you do FIND one i do not suggest AVG.

KornmonGrimHijackThis is NOT a tool for an average user. You have to know, what you're doing.i have microsoft security essentials. Does well.

But maybe avast with online armor firewall for which free version does well might be good enough PLUS a malwarebytes' or a superantispyware or an a-squared antimalware.
