Answer» I was having a bit of problems with my comp so I decided to Format. Every thing went fine with the format but when I tried to load windows 98 computer would freeze up in the middle of the installation. Thought it was the hard drive so I replaced it with a new one. Then thought it might be the Ram so I replaced that to. But I am still running in to the same problem and have no Idea where to go from here. Does anyone have any SUGGESTIONS I am at my whits end.Are you certain it freezes?Well it doesnt actualy freeze but it will go IDLE halfway through the windows SET up, I dont think it is the windows program because the same thing happened when I tried to load win 2000 alsocheck your power supply UNIT and check all the components are seated well..cpu/graphics card...did you format your drive using a boot FLOPPY disk..Yes I used a boot disc to format. Is there anyway to check your power supply?? Reseat the Video Card.
