OE is frozen like a lollipop-the green one, lol

Not delicious and not funny. Tried to reinstall. Nope. There is what seems to be a message (no attachment- no virus) that is frozen and nothing else will come in. I went to server to delete message but it's invisible or just plain not there. It's a phantom ARGHHHHHHHHHH

So, can't use OE. Running Windows 2000 NT and OE6 on PC. The rest of the stuff,programs, etc is fine. Ran virus, trojan and alien form scans to no avail. Even tried my luck (oh boy) at MSFT site-what a JOKE)

Can anyone help me? I've got tons and tons of stuff filed in there and need to have access to it (of course, of course, I do not have backup- don't KNOW how to do that )
