i have a bizarre problem with my laptop, whenever i open firefox instead of having a google search bar on my screen i have a swedish government website and when i try to search for ANYTHING i get a different swedish government site! I've deleted firefox and re-installed it and thats made no difference. I get the same response from internet explorer

Do a virus scan and a spyware scan.  www.download.com search for ad-aware download that and install it.  Update when prompted and run it sounds like you have an infectionI have done a scan with avg which found no threats but said two fies had been changed kernel.dl? and hosts?
 Means NOTHING to me, i'll download some spyware and see what it finds. taHave ran-without success

Help?lspfixCheck your Homepage - it may have been hijacked..I did check my homepage and it was ok changed it to msn and still didn't work.
  I've a new problem now after using lspfix i've no internet connection. I could do with some suggestions before it goes out a window!
Thanks to the people behind winsock xpfix my connection problem has been solved and no more swedish websites!   2K's the man...
