Answer» I'm trying to do some work locally on a Web calendar that I've downloaded. My desktop computer is doing fine with it using the URL localhost/default (in Firefox with XP). My laptop (same setup) gives the error "The connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost."Well, this means that your application's (web calendar?) server module doesn't work on your laptop. Your http service is not WORKING = "connection refused". Maybe you have to SET up the application (maybe you forgot to set up something) or reinstall the application (after uninstalling it, of course).Or maybe I didn't double-click fast enough and the application didn't start when I thought it had. Duh! I believe that's what HAPPENED, but I wouldn't have TRIED again without reading your note. Thanks, viking, it's working fine now. (Muttering about how I could have been so dumb...)
