Solve : Auto creation of shell32.dll how ??????

Answer»

I did a thing last night.... I just dragged the file shell32.dll to the desktop and REFRESHED the directory system32 and i saw shell32.dll in it.

I already drag and DROPPED it to desktop, how it auto created there ?
How many such kinds of files presented in windows ?
Which program is doing such tasks ?1) Why would you drag a .dll file to the desktop?
2) When you drag a file to the desktop you are creating a shortcut to the file unless you specifically move it
3) There are any number of files in System32 you cannot delete - they will automatically be replaced with their backup files (in \windows\system32\dllcache). This is the expert VB8 programmer, folks...

hate to say it... but is that not an oxymoron most of the time?I'm not an expert vb8 programmer I'm doing the things while learning, I'm beginner in vb8. Nobody answered my question, you are saying otherthan the topic. Only allan gave me some information. As a beginner i have an anxiety to know the things that "what would be happened if we do it".

So i tried to drag a system file but it recreated automatically and i want to know the reason behind it. So i'm a learner........ Please provide me useful information...

Especially for salmon trout i'm learning vb8 and i'm writing code to vb6 by learning because it is very urgent to recode so no time to learn and no time to coding again.

any way thanks to your posts. If you have any useful information about this post the reply. It's called Windows File Protection. If it is protected by windows file protection then i did another thing today.

I changed the folder icon that is located in shell32.dll and this file protection didn't stopped me and the modified file will acts as the original shell32.dll and no problems found now. If i want to create a new folder, it is created with my icon.....

Then what happened to windows file protection ? why it didn't warn me ?you either disabled WFP or also changed the shell32.dll in dllcache. No i used resource hacker software to change it.and if you ran sfc /scannow it would replace the file.

windows file protection only happens instantly when the file is replaced by another, deleted, or moved. It would appear that editing the file, (which I might add is impossible while windows is running anyway, or at the very least requires a reboot) does not cause wfp to engage.yes i restarted the windows for changes. But it didn't keep the original file. If i want the original where can i get it ? C:\windows\system32\dllcache
