Solve : automated software installation? |
|
Answer» I've heard that there are ways to automate the installation of software so that you don't have to click next a dozen times and accept a license agreement (you wouldn't even have to be at the computer), but I don't know where to begin in searching for how to do it. http://www.almeza.com/ Is this what you're looking for? Thanks for the link, but from what I've read I got the impression that it was more of a SCRIPT, than a program. If I have 50 computers in three buildings that I'm trying install Adobe Reader onto, it really isn't very efficient to go to each and every one to click next 8 times. It would take a full shift to do it. And then, when an update is available for Snagit the next WEEK, there GOES another day. Quote If I have 50 computers in three buildingsI agree here... These Guys are the Guru's of unattended OS installations,,,perhaps they may have some stuff for specific application installations... Good Luck. |
