akil.......  How LONG has this been going on ?  Have you made any changes to any thing ,that may have caused this ? When is the last time you gave the machine a good cleaning out ? You are absolutely certain , when you click start /shutdown ....... that it is actually set at shutdown nad not restart ?
Does anyone else use this machine ?

I think that is impossible
..... LOL ...... With a computer , nothing is impossible......well almost nothing .

Simply change it back ........
Click START/SHUTDOWN ...then when you see the shutdown window....... You will see the statement....."What do you WANT the computer to do"  ....... click on the down arrow ....and select Shut down ......  then click OK ........

totally lol

I asked you that anyone can change the shutdown button to function as restart buttun.. I didnt mean that start---->shutdown..
when we click start---shutdown we will get a window wich contains shutdown, restart, and stand by OPTIONS to select... thats I know well..
my problem is when i select the shutdown option then click "ok" that machine  not to be shotdown instead that its getting re-booted...

thats y I asked anyone can change that shutdown button (which is into the shutdown window) to funcation as restart button?? i HOPE now you will be get my question...Try changing it to re-start then after it re-starts try changing it back to shut-down.
