I can't get AUTOPLAY to work on Vista Home. There are no devices listed at the bottom of the page. I can make all the changes I want to and save them but it still won't AUTO PLAY. I've checked the DVD Rom and it works correctly. I even went into device manager and uninstalled the DVD Rom but I still can't get auto play to function. Only one more problem to fix. There is an internet button on this laptop and it suddenly stopped working. It's supposed to function like this: press once when the COMPUTER is running and the internet browser comes up or press it when the computer is off and it will start the computer and log onto the internet. I know this button works to  start the computer but it won't bring up the internet. This is a Toshiba laptop Satellite A210.I'm glad, you got it fixed.
You may want to start new topic about the second issue.I just threw that in there. I didn't really expect to receive any help about that button. It's time to call Toshiba.A call to Toshiba fixed the problem by having me do a reset on internet options.Very well
