Solve : background not showing? |

Answer» i got some spyware and it turned my desktop into a html. i got rid of all of it (i think) but now i cant change my background. if i go into properties to CLICK on a different background they arent clickable and the small box is frozen under the desktop tab.Why do you think it is all cleaned up if the computer is not functioning correctly? How did you do it and what did you use?i used spy sweeper and it came up with a desktop spyware file. i DELETED it and recent scans SHOW no spyware files.One thing is not usually enough. I WOULD try Ad Aware, SPybot and Ewido, and thena good virus scan as well. AVG Free works for this as well as the online scanner at www.trendmicro.com Just do a google search for these other items. They are all free. |
