Solve : BACKING UP?

Hello,
I would like to back up my C and D drives to my external drive which has 1 TB space before I use my easeus partition manager to redistribute the disk space AMONG C and D. Any help on how to safely back up will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for this..I had the same backing up ISSUE and the Macrium Reflect software really helps a lot. Thanks for the tips.
