Answer» Yesteryday i read a thread, if i right CLICK go to properties, go to settings, and then click advance. then bring the hardware usage all the way down. it would stop LAG. so i TRIED it. and now when ever i right click, it will say, windows explorer has encountered a problem. and when i open display under control panel, and i try going to advance settings to put it back the way it was, it doesnt work. it gives me an error An EXCEPTION occured while TRYING to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,control_rundll "C:\WINDOWS\sytem32\desk.cpl",display" Solution?Can you give a link of that thread? Go to Start - Run , type REGSVR32 SHELL32.DLL in the box and click OK. If that doesn't help,go to Start - Run - type sfc/ scannow (note the space) and press enter. Have your Windows CD handy as you may need it. I remember the thread you were on about, but it was bad advice.
