Answer» When you are trying todetermine if your windows 2000 computer can support Windows XP,list the steps to KNOW how much ram is currently installed.
I'm not sure what's worse, that you don't know the answer to that or that it's a homework question in the first place....
Right click on My Computer, click Properties. On the General tab the amount of memory will be DISPLAYED in the lower right hand. OR Download BelarcAdvisor from www.belarc.com and run it. OR Download Aida32 from http://www.sofotex.com/downloads/d9326.html and run it.Boot up the computer, look at the top LEFT corner of the screen, watch the RAM test, remember the number it stops at. Please excuse my ignorance, but I am very new to this and this basic computer course will help me upgrade myself to a better job so i can support my family in this computer AGE. Pardon me if I'm being stupid, but (whenever I see a homework question I think this) surely if you are taking a course, they are supposed to, like, "teach" you things, which you "learn". To test if you have learned STUFF, and help you to absorb it, they give you homework. If you have to go on a web forum to get your homework done, doesn't that mean that something is wrong somewhere? The teachers are lousy, the textbooks are bad, or you either are not listening or aren't asking the right questions in class?
