Answer» This question must have been asked hundreds of TIMES, but I searched the forum and I couldn't find the anser from a post I read few months ago. I have a HP desktop running Win XP Home edition. For some reasons, after I restart it, the screen just stay black, the mouse point just stuck and won't move, it never moves BEYOND that. Doesn't anyone know what might be wrong? ThanksCan we have some system specs? What brand of PC is it? How much memory does it have? How fast is the PROCESSOR? If you don't know, then if you can boot even once into Windows, download and install Everest Free Edition, and run it and find this info?And what malware protection, how old, what happened prior to this, any other problems, does anyone else have access to it, etc. Just a few more details are NEEDED, you see.
