Solve : black screen after windows logo? |

Answer» I have a laptop with windows Vista, when i start it up i get the windows logo at the bottom of the screen and then where it would normally display the login the screen turns black. i can see the mouse icon but nothing else. i have tried to start it up in all 3 safe MODES but still the same. i do not have the original software for vista as it was installed by the company i got it from. i do not have the original software for vista as it was installed by the company i got it from. What do you mean? Where did you get this laptop from? You should have received a Recovery Disc, or your laptop will have a recovery partition. If it came from a disc, the 'company' should have given you the disc as well as a Windows Vista license if you paid for it. What model of laptop is this?my ex bought it via the INTERNET, from the company Acer. At the moment I cannot find any DISCS that will help me that were provided with the laptop. I am unsure of the model, I am at work. i will bring in the model details if you think this will help you to help me??? many thanks |
