Hello,

Recently for no known reason (no new software or hardware added) my pc will sometimes "turn on" when i hit the power button but my monitors will not display anything.  After sometimes hitting the reset button 1-3 more times I will get a normal boot with windows loading screen and be able to log into windows.  I updated my Nvidia drivers to the latest drivers soon after this started and the issue is still persistent.  I then went to check if there were any new Windows Updates that could be related to the issue.  Windows Update indicates 7 "important" updates with 5 of the 7 being security updates.  When i try to update it fails to install all 7 and sometimes gives me error code: 800F0900, and occasionally after a restart it will also give me error code 80246007.

I have researched some of the fixes for these issues and have tried almost everything suggested such as:

disabling AVG and firewall when trying to run windows updates
using network diagnostic tool
using windows update troubleshooter
cleaning up registry errors with CCCleaner
Running full scan with AVG, MalwareBytes, SuperAnti-Spyware free editions
Running System Update Readiness tool
Running sfc /scannow tool

None of these methods have indicated any errors or corruptions were present.  I do not know what to do anymore at this point.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Meanwhile i would try reverting back to the original drivers that shipped with the card...new drivers ain't always better drivers.If you FACED this type of problem then follow this steps-

1- Click the start button and go to the control panel
2- Select system and security and then select windows update
3-  On the left PANE select the option that reads “Update History”, this will show all the updates and those that have failed, along with the error code.

check the services related to the windows update are started and set to automatic on the computer.   follow this steps

1-  Click the start button, and then, in the Search box, type services.msc, and then press enter.
2-  In-service list, look for the below-mentioned services and make sure that service is started and set automatic

Otherwise, Try installing each update manually and check.
and please run the network dignostic tool incase of INTERNET failure.
Restore your computer by following below steps:
1.Go to start MENU
2.Write Restore in the search bar.
3.Open restore window.
4.Click on next button.

6. Restore your computer to an earlier restore point.
