Solve : Black Screen Problem. Help Wanted Badly!!!?

Ok i have a realy big problem with my laptop right now. It's hard to explain what its like so i'll post pictures.
Ok so when i start up the laptop it goes all normal but when i sign into my user all that comes up is: A window showing my doucements, a black screen if i minimize it and no tool bar. Here Are some PICTURE:


As you can see, no tool bar thing. (The bit where it shows your tabs and the start menu) This what it look likes when on start up.

Here is what it looks like when i minimize it:

So all there is the minimized things and a black screen. The black screen does nothing, you can't right click on it or any thing. It is as if the desktop just dissapeared.

I'm on Vista and i have a HP G60 Notebook if that means anything.....

I think i found a solution (now i know why vista sucks)

Edit: I have found the solution! ^^
Well for future refrence to anyone how has had the same problem do this

1.) Hit CTRL+ALT+DEL
2.) Select "Start TASK Manager"
3.) In "Task Manger", select "File/New Task (Run)"
4.) Type in "explorer" (being "Windows Explorer)
5.) Press ENTER.

Im glad you were able to RESOLVE it.
I havent gone near Vista because of all the bad press I hear.. I rather like my Xp.Nothing wrong with Vista...people don't like the learning curve though.
