Solve : Blink Text (HTML)?

Answer»

Hi Everyone. I sell on Ebay. I know its annoying and everyone hates it but it is important that I BLINK a few words INSIDE my auction. (Please Take The Optional Insurance) Many people SAY they did not see it although it is in HUGE/BOLD print. Personally. I think they are full of beans. If I BLINK it, they will have no excuse. I do not think works with Internet Explorer and almost everyone uses it. Does anyone have another EASY way to do it? Thanks so much!!!

PS: I am not very technical.Take a look at this: http://www.blinkingtextlive.com/Wow!!! Great!!

One more thing... Can I get the advertisement BLINKINGTEXT.COM out of my BLINKING text? I can't figure out what to take out from the HTML to remove it and still have everything perfect. Any advice???

PS: Soybean..you are great!!!Code: [Select]<html>
<head>
<title>Example of Formatting Text</title>
</head>
<BODY>
<p>This <blink>word</blink> is Blinking</p>
</body>
</html>
The tags do not work with most PC's.

Soybeans site was great. Just want to know how to remove the advertisement of BLINKINGTEXT.COM from the auctual blinking text. Thanks all!!!! I don't think you can remove the ad, since it's a GIF image that's created.Oh!!! Is there anything out there as easy that creates the blinking text for you with NO advertisements? The ad messes up the placement of my auctions normal text.

Anyone???

Right. The blinking text and the small ad in the lower right corner are all part of one image.Here's something that will work in both IE and Firefox: http://www.draac.com/blinkingtext.txtSorry, I opened the link and have no clue what to do there.Sorry, but now that I think about this some more, I'm not sure that could be inserted into your ebay listing. Actually, any of the options mentioned in this discussion require inserting some code into your ebay listing. I haven't LISTED anything on ebay for a very long time and don't know how much flexibility they give you to insert some type of code, such as what's been suggested here, into your listing.

I do know ebay has their own discussion boards to help users. That might be your best source for getting help with this. See http://pages.ebay.com/community/boards/index.html
