Solve : Blue screen with unknown code...? |
|
Answer» I recently uninstalled Google Toolbar and various other objects which i thought were of no relevance to the running of my Advent Laptop. I found that when I now turn on my Laptop it loads all the way to the WELCOME page then the Desktop, but within 30 seconds no longer I get a BLUE screen and the following code. Hey thanks, i read through the whole of that and divulged into a few other links but i am still curious as to what the code that was given means? The hex numbers in brackets are likely to relate to memory LOCATIONS and CPU registers and may well vary wildly from computer to computer. The first number is the significant one that will give the most information. Specifically, 0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler didn’t catch. These are nearly always hardware compatibility issues. Big list here http://www.aumha.org/a/stop.php Lots here to chew on http://www.google.co.uk/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=windows+stop+messages&btnG=Google+Search&meta=&aq=t&oq=windows+stop+Ha ha thanks man... ill give them all go see how it turns out Ill let you know dont worry ha ha cheers |
