Solve : Bookmarks disappeared, and Torpark...? |

Answer» HI ! I turned on my computer today, and 3/4 of my bookmarks have disappeared. (I had to GOOGLE you guys! Good thing I remembered the word, "HOPE"!) There is also no scrolling-thingy on the right to move down the bookmarks -- it also has disappeared -- though the ONE for the current page is there :-? How can I get my bookmarks back? How did I do this?! Also, can someone explain to me exactly what Torpark is for in very simple language. My impression is that it is an anonymizer if I want to browse sites anonymously. However, I want to know if it is like an identity that I GO into *when* I want to be anonymous; or whether when I download it my identity is then changed forever to this anonymous status ?? And, if I am registered on a site with my old identity, will I have to go and re-register because I can't log in? I don't understand it. Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me! |
