Answer» My son's LAPTOP has NTLDR is missing, CTRL-ALT-Del and we need to create a boot disk from my laptop to use on his. We are both running WINDOWS XP.
Neither of us has a disk drive and I can't find help on creating a boot CD.

NTLDR is Missing
It GOES through a lot of the possible reasons for a missing or corrupt NTLDR and has suggestions on how to fix it.vicpssi, could you help me out here: I used my XP boot CD and came as far as into the repair console of the XP CD, after typing in me password I get this line: C :\WINDOWS>
when I try to follow the instructions on subject CH000465, "3. Corrupt NTLDR and/or NTDETECT.COM file" I get nowhere, mainly because I have no knowledge of ths basic COMMANDLINE stuff.
