Answer» I am trying to boot up a Windows 98se CDROM. I had Arklinux on my computer and I Repartioned the drive and tried to boot the CD, it will not boot. So I made a Floppy Boot and it booted until I came to the A: PROMPT. I didnt know what to do so I restarted my computer.
Now I cant get back to the A: prompt!
It just skips my Floppy boot disk and the CDrom and goes to a blank screen witht the CURSOR at the top and I cant do anything.
If I take the floppy disk out it skips the Cdrom and goes to a Grub error (WICH I assume is a Linux related.)
I have the floppy/cdrom/hddrive in ORDER in the Bios. and I tried clearing CMos but it just does the same thing. Goes to a blank screen with the cursor on top of screen.
plz help Thankstry another boot disk from here>www.bootdisk .com and start again..format the drive and fdisk it..then change the boot sequence....to cdrom..in the bios
