Answer» Sir,with most REGARDS,I ADD this post for your forum help. When I start up my COMPUTER the message < BOOT.INI not found / booting froom c:\windows>. Help me, please to get RID of this error message.What happens after this message? Can you start your computer?FYI Boot.ini is not required when booting provided that an OS is located in C:\Windows. NTLDR is programmed to LOAD the OS from that folder by default should Boot.ini not be found and all other conditions are met. The advisory message will appear at each boot up until the Boot.ini file is replaced.
