Solve : Boot Partition Deleted?

Answer»

On my dual boot computer, I deleted the LINUX boot partition which had the bootloader - grub. Is there any way to move the boot flag to the Windows partition without ANY bootable CD.Have you tried running fixboot and fixmbr from the Recovery CONSOLE ?
How do I do that?Boot to the XP CD....at the prompt follow the steps to enter the Recovery Console....
Let it load...sometimes slow.
At the command prompt type fixboot and hit Enter.
Remove the XP CD and re-boot....
If no joy joy repeat the above EXCEPT this time at the prompt type fixmbr and hit Enter...
Again remove the XP CD and re-boot.
If you have a flash drive or bootable cd is all I think will work.Ya cant expect me to have the windows cd and stuff here at holidays. Lol No way without the disc?Nope.Thx anywaysI forgot this was in my bag of TRICKS:::
Bootable RC .iso
Here
You use it in your burning app to make a bootable CDNow this makes the situation impossible-the only comp here, sits unbootable. I contact you by WAP enabled mobile phone. You have friends with computers...right?
