Solve : Boot Time Inconsistency? |

Answer» Typically, my Win 7 boot time as measured by Glary varies from 11-15 sec. One boot out of every six boots or so the boot time is 30 sec. or longer. It seems each subsequent boot to the long boot is back to 11-15 sec. Does anyone have any idea why the inconsistency? I've checked scheduled tasks, startups and auotoruns, including services, and can't find anything there. INSTALLED is 360 Total Security, and a a dozen lightweight apps, plus Mozilla THUNDERBIRD, Maxthon Coud browser, and Rollback Rx Professional.There has not been, to my knowledge, an explanation of why Windows may vary in boot time. Some system housekeeping starts without the user being informed. |
