Solve : Boot up in safe mode?

Answer»

Why is that, when reboot in safe mode always seem to take longer then in normal mode? I thought it would be faster since there are fewer THINGS for the OS to load.

BMy guess is that it's just another laziness on M$s part. After all, why would someone have to restart when all that is needed is for the explorer to be refreshed. Restart takes 5minutes refresh takes 2 seconds. It could be louisy SCRIPTS but i'm not totally SURE. If anyone has an answer it will probably be better than mine.I mentioned this (W2K) a few weeks ago and Raptor said my computer was faulty.
I didn't believe one word of it.
I think it's just a windows thing. If safe mode doesn't load something's wrong, but safe mode has always loaded pretty fast on the machines I've WORKED on. And if it didn't, it usually wouldn't load at all.. Quote
