PLEASE HELP!!! i take classes online and i need my computer to work. i have tried alot of things.

My Hp mini doesnt have a place for a cd. and i DONT have the external one. when i CUT my computer on it says, " Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem 1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer. but i dont have a place for a dics!!!
but i do however have a 4GB usb flash drive. How can i boot my computer with the flash drive??? please give me a link or a 'how to' in detail. ThanksYou can boot your computer from USB, but of course you have to have windows installed on your USB drive FIRST.
