Answer» I've been using WIN98 very successfully and have not added or removed any programs recently. Now when I TRY to boot up I receive the DOS msg: "Data error reading drive C. Abort, Retry, Fail". At the DOS PROMPT I can examine the C directory and see its contents. So the drive is working. I can go into the Windows directory and see all of its files and directories but I can't open anything from the list. How can I identify the problem? (I'm using a backup COMPUTER to send this.)
