Answer» i have recived an old laptop from my uncle. It broke on him so he bought another. But the problem is that it's broken and i can fix it but it has an administrative password that my uncle has seemingly forgoten. Anyhow i just wanted to know if there's a way to just re-install the whole thing or a way for me to get around the password so i am able to fix it. Let me explain it a bit more. When i start it up it GOES to the compaq screen with the press f10 for SETUP. It goes BLACK for about 2 minutes before desplaying an error. When ever i TRY to enter setup i need a password. So i need a way around the password or a way to just reinstall the entire OS. basicly start the computer a new.Sorry but you will not find any help in bypassing passwords here.Travel to an Authorised Service Center for the laptop manuf.
