Solve : BSOD: Driver_irql_not_les_or_equal? |
|
Answer» Hello everyone. Since the day I've gotten my computer, I've been getting this Blue Screen of Death error every once in a while. It just says the following error in the top when it happens: Driver_irql_not_les_or_equal Now, usually I could just restart my computer and it would be no issue, but this morning I've gotten the BSOD error 15 times in a row, and I'm unable to really use my computer for anything. The problem really only occurs if I open some game or have 2 browser tabs open at once. Right now I'm posting from a single tab, which seems to work fairly alright so far. Yesterday I uninstalled Kaspersky antivirus and have cleaned my registry today, to see if that was the issue. I've also set my computer to use a system managed page file, to manage my memory usage. The problem also persists in Safe Mode. When the computer starts and I get the issue report, this is what I'm given: Problemsignatur: Navn på problemhændelse: BlueScreen OS-version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Landestandard-id: 1030 Flere oplysninger om problemet: BCCode: d1 BCP1: FFFFF880057FF162 BCP2: 0000000000000002 BCP3: 0000000000000000 BCP4: FFFFF88002B478E0 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1 These are my specs. System: Windows 7 64 bit Motherboard: Sabertooth 990FX 2.0 BIOS Version: 1302 CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor RAM: 16 GB Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series 1) Do you still have an av installed and resident? If not, please install one immediately. 2) Registry cleaners CAUSE problems, they do not cure anything. The fact that you used one may have made your situation much worse than it previously was. 3) Download BlueScreenView: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program. when scanning is done, go to EDIT - SELECT All Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply Quote from: ALLAN on October 30, 2014, 05:46:37 AM 1) Do you still have an av installed and resident? If not, please install one immediately. 1. The problem became really bad after uninstalling Kaspersky. Why would I need to reinstall one, when I can't even access the internet? I also most likely would just get BSOD when trying. 2. *censored*. 3. I'll try, but it's possible I just get BSOD when installing it.If you have a network connection (whether or not you can access it) or if you EVER transfer files to your computer, you MUST have an anti virus app installed and resident. The fact that it also happens in safe mode points to a hardware problem. LET's check the ram and the hd first: To check the ram, download memtest (http://memtest.org/). Burn it to a cd USING a dedicated .iso burning utility (http://www.petri.co.il/how_to_write_iso_files_to_cd.htm), make sure the cd drive is at the top of the boot order in bios, then boot to the newly created cd and run the utility.[/font] To check the hd, go to the website of your hd manufacturer, download their dos based diagnostic utility, burn it to cd and boot to it. |
