Answer» Hi I hope someone can help me! I get the following error message when I start my pc: "stop 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x89cd5a98, 0xc0000102, 0x00000000)" What does it mean? I have Windows XP Dell XP Gen 5Does it happen every time you start up? When did it start? Any recent changes? (downloads, installs, hardware changes, ect...) Can you get into Windows via Safe ModeHi thanks for replying, I made no changes before this happened, the pc went into hibernation mode and crashed. After that I was able to access windows but no programs would load and i would get lots of error messages before bsod. Since then everytime i start my pc i get the bsod. I cannot get into safe mode.Hibernation = Bad. Do you have the Windows XP CD? If so, perform a REPAIR Install: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm (none of your personal files will be deleted)That's the thing i do not have a RECOVERY disk, i'm pulling my hair out trying to find one online and also have contacted Dell but have not recieved anything yet.Not recovery discs, the Operating System CD.
