Answer» Hello! I just got a Compaq Pressario. Running Windows XP. Have been using Windows Movie Maker to take pics of my sons RACING and make video Resume's. Files CONTAIN both video and audio. Have tried both dvd-r and dvd+r disk and neither can be viewed on home dvd player's. PC states dvd+rw capabilities. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help. KirkVBR Racing.... Ok ......have you checked to see if the disks you have burned will play on the cd player on you COMPUTER ....... If they do what format are they in ........ I dont MEAN dvd - or dvd + but rather the actual format ie. Mpeg , Mpeg1 etc. The other thing you might check is the actual setup on the stand alone dvd player ........Refer to the operating manual for it and it should tell you which formats it will accept. hope this is of some help. dl65
