Answer» Hello- Well I think I'm in trouble here. I'm a Java programmer and I use JDeveloper 10-g JDeveloper 10-g uses jdk 1.5.0_05 and there are some new features in Jdk 6 that I THOUGHT I'd try so I downloaded the jre 6 and RAN it. Ever since doing this my jar files no longer run either from double-clicking in Windows Explorer or from the command line. So I OPENED up the Control Panel and double-clicked the Java button which should display the Java Control Panel. Nothing happens. Now I am at a loss. I TRIED System Restore but no earlier restore points were available. WHAT CAN I DO NOW? uninstall all java IDE's SDKs and so forth and REINSTALL?
