1.	Solve : C drive "Error Checking" freezes?
Answer» Can not get hard drive ERROR CHECKING to complete. seems to freeze after 2 - 3% . Sounds as though the HDD (120Gb) is working but stuck in a loop of about a 10 minute cycle.?!? I'm no expert though by far. Left overnight but still same result. have to kill power to reset. Computer is RUNNING ok at present. Is this another ViStA querk? Im just running my yearly HDD health check on the drive.Try the drive manuf. FREE diagnostics...select the one that creates a bootable CD so that it runs outside of Windows... This will eliminate Vista as the CULPRIT.
