Your restart is caused by a setting in Windows XP (I SUPPOSE): when your computer crashes (BSOD -- fatal error it means) it will restart automatically; if it doesn't restart by itself, you can't do MUCH, but to read and note (and post here) the error code. So... Try to enter safe mode, check there the Event Viewer, change video SETTINGS and so on... And "LET us know"
