Solve : Can I get a free MalwareBytes??

Answer»

I am sure I tried to get a free Malwaqrebytes, but for some reason it keeps telling me my trial has expired.
What trial?
I am sure it said free. What did I miss? I am sure it used to be free. It's just a nag screen they have gone to...the trial continues updating and WORKING NORMALLY...Awhile back, Malwarebytes switched from having the free and paid versions be separate. They now have you install a "trial" (30-day?) version of their paid software that expires at the end of the trial and reverts to the free version. I just INSTALLED Malwarebytes on my sister's laptop the other day, I can't remember where it was but there was an option buried in the PROGRAM settings to exit the trial and revert to the free version. I wanted to do that in order to prevent a phone call a month from now asking what to do because her Malwarebytes trial expired! Also, no nagging.See Here...Thanks for sharing the fix to get rid of the nag, I have been just blowing it off when it nags by exiting out of the pop up. Cool to see a work around to get rid of the nag for now.BTW they have also bought out ADWCleaner which is also an excellent product....
WORKS great. Thanks Patio. There is a checkbox during install along the lines of "Enable Trial of Malwarebytes Pro" or something to that effect. I always disable it.
