Solve : Can I uninstall old service packs since I have 3.5??

Answer»

I have Windows XP and Service packs 1.1 thru 3.5 on my computer taking up a LOT of space. Can I safely uninstall any of them?Quick answer.
If the installer does not remove the extra files there is a reason.
It may be necessary to roll back an update.
There are no service packs 1.1, or 3.5.Where did you happen to actually find those service packs? I'm just curious.I suspect, he may be talking about .NET Framework...Are you talking about folders? If so, tell us the exact names and locations of the folders you want to delete. If you are talking about ADD/REMOVE then no, leave everything alone. If you are talking about .NET Framework then they can be uninstalled. But the programs that depends on them won't work any more.Quote from: Vikram Varaprasad on NOVEMBER 05, 2009, 06:21:48 AM
