Answer» I'd like to can the Win ME and install the Win XP Sp2 which I have on DISC... Will I lose my MSOffice and other programs which I don't have a discs for? How? I know that the XP disc intro addresses the install but it's not very clear about vulnerability of exsisting items. These are sometimes called 'portable programs' because you can put them on a USB device and they will work on another computer. Yeah. Thatch's right.
Programs that do not have to be installed will still work.
These are sometimes called 'portable programs' because you can put them on a USB device and they will work on another computer.
But, MS Office is not one of therm In fact, few programs are 'portable'.
