Answer»

Well my prtoblem is this i helped a friend of a friend to format a laptop pc> No problem with that after 2 weeks the problems start after a defragment everything crashed!!!!Until then i was really coll i thought another format and everything is ok.But it was not everything ok!!!!!In the beggining i could not boot the ntldr file missing and i could not load windows. Another guy tried to fix it it BECAME worse the problem. I tried to format but it takes 2hours to reach 6%!!!!Should i left it for days until it format?I am in distress because the guy says it is my fault and i should pay and i definetely cabn not afford it!!!The pc is hp laptop intel celeron 512 ram.I can nto quick format it and furthermore i tried repair from bios and stilll nothing!!!!Thanx in advance the only hope is you !!!!If you want to format a hard drive COMPLETELY i recommend KillDisk. and umm, if they agreed to you formating the computer its their fault too for putting their laptop in the hands of someone that could possibly damage their hardware. oh and did you try reinstalling windows?Look i am not a computer expert the only thing i did was formatting it and everything was ok.Then after 2 weeks the problem started and i suspect that it was DUE to the fact that they were connected to internet for the first time!!!!Is it my fault that they entered no safe sites? It does not matter whose fault it is the problem is i do not know the solution so any suggestions are welcome!!!!
firstly its there fault, u cant take the blame cause you not certified , second 1300 is a silly number,  new HDD is 100 third if its just a bad partition , get partition magic, and u can fix it

look in the boot disks section of the faq for a GOOD boot disktry this boot disk

http://www.bootitng.com/downloads/bootitng.zip

it hadels partitions with ease

its definatley not ur fault. it sounds like his hard drive is fried. i would simply tell him to buy a new hd. the reason i say its the hd is because i bought a new comp not too LONG ago, and everything started to go reeeeeeeaally slow. i did scans and found nothing. i reformatted, tried to start a program, and it still took 10min. to load. i got a new hd and the problem was solved. What was wrong that a format was in order?  Did you use a real copy of Windows or an HP recoverey CD? THe post is a little vague, so please clarify the details for more relevant help.
